It’s time for another update! I want to apologize for not writing sooner, but I’ve been without  internet for several days and I’m writing this from my phone. I just wanted to let you all know that I’m planning to finish part two this week.
I’ve had some people ask if I plan to release the book under a Creative Commons or similar license. While I’m not really interested in releasing the eBook itself like that, I am considering turning the book’s contents into a website, kind of like Dive Into Python. Â
I may make that my next stretch goal. Let me know what you think in the comments.

Sounds like the ideal solution: people can check it out and if they like it they will hopefully buy the ebook to re compensate you for your work 🙂 (this is what I would like best as a customer)
I contributed to your campaign because I want this book! That said, it will be such an amount of work on your part, I don’t think you should solicit advice about copyright. That should be up to you. I say, if you want to make money off your work, then you should. By all means copyright the information and reap the benefits. If you think it more realistic to do something else, by all means. I did not contribute because I expect the results of your labor to be free for everyone else. I am paying you startup funds and you can do whatever you see fit (as long as I get my copy of the book :)).

Thanks for the support. I was mainly interested in seeing if people were interested in seeing the book turned into a website. If they do, that’s okay with me. I won’t be soliciting opinions on copyrights for my future books though.
