The Top 10 Articles of 2014

Happy New Year! This past year has been pretty great and I am looking forward to what 2015 has to offer. I have been doing this blog for quite a while now and today it’s time for a retrospective over 2014’s most-read articles. Let’s take a look!

  2. Python: A Simple Step-by-Step SQLite Tutorial (11,373 page views)
  3. Python and Microsoft Office – Using PyWin32 (7,201 page views)
  4. Reportlab Tables – Creating Tables in PDFs with Python (6,356 page views)
  5. wxPython – Creating a Simple Media Player (5,851 page views)
  6. Python 101: How to Download a File (5,723 page views)
  7. wxPython – wx.ListCtrl Tips and Tricks (5,655 page views)
  8. Python 101: How to Open a File or Program (5,373 page views)
  9. A PyInstaller Tutorial (5,010 page views)
  10. PyPdf2 – The New Fork of PyPdf (4,959 page views)

This is out of 493,339 page views in total for the year.

If you go back through the last few top ten lists, you will notice that the items in this list have changed position drastically. You may also notice that the number of page views per article is much lower this year. I thought that was pretty interesting. Here are the last few year’s links for easy reference:

Sadly none of my 2014 articles made it to the top ten list this year. So I’ll just give you a quick taste of what you missed in 2014 by listing the top five articles of last year:
